Mindfulness Meditation is a 4-week live and guided meditation program that teaches you simple yet effective meditation practices to make it easy for you to meditate in just 30 minutes a week.
By the end of this 4-week course you’ll:

Week One will get you meditating with your first breath. In this first week, we will do a grounding and gathering meditation, introductions, a weekly check-in, and a combination of lecture and guided meditations.
In module one, you’re going to learn:
Week Two is the week when we answer that question "am I doing this right?" This week we have a gathering and grounding meditation, discuss our experiences over the past week, and check-in. This class will be a combination of lecture and guided meditation with focus on "naming and releasing" thoughts as they arise.
In week two, you’re going to learn to:
Week Three is the week that we examine emotions as they arise in meditation. We will be practicing a "naming and investigating" meditation and learn the technique of R. A. I. N. to better self-regulate your emotions.
In week three, you’re going to learn to:
Week Four we bring the course to a culmination by learning Lovingkindness. This technique has documented evidence that it reduces aging! With a combination of lecture, video, and meditation, we will practice Lovingkindness for ourselves, a beloved, a known person but not well, an unknown neutral person, and a person with which we have had difficulty.
In week four, you’re going to learn how to:
As you learn to meditate, you will have questions. You can record your questions in the journal, and have them answered live in class, if you choose. Every class there will be dedicated time for questions and answers. In addition, you can email your questions and get a response. Any time you are struggling with something about meditation or the lecture material, reach out! You will not be alone in this journey.
Even if you can only participate in the live classes, you will learn how to meditate. However, to get the most from class, you will have the opportunity to revisit the entire class in the private members-only group. Visual learners will have the presentation materials to reference. Auditory learners will have the recorded meditations. Kinesthetic learners will have special sessions. Reading/Writing learners will have the opportunity to record their progress in the journal.
Join the private Facebook group exclusively for students of Mindfulness Meditation 101. You can post your observations, post your progress in the weekly challenge and make friends with the other students enrolled in the group. There will also be weekly live sessions with Dr Lisa for Q&A, with the times announced weekly during class.

Dr Lisa Nezneski is also known as the meditating pharmacist. She is a leading authority in the field of Integrative Medicine, bringing the benefits of traditional medicine, meditation, and alternative modalities in a well-rounded approach to health and healing. She also is the author of Seven Mindful Questions and Grounded in Chaos.
