  • Tap into the “R-A-I-N” technique to mindfully deal with emotions with ease.

Here's how the program breaks down...
MODULE ONE

Week 1: Mindfulness of Breath and Mindful Anchors

Week One will get you meditating with your first breath. In this first week, we will do a grounding and gathering meditation, introductions, a weekly check-in, and a combination of lecture and guided meditations.

In module one, you’re going to learn:

  • How to Define Mindfulness
  • How to Experience Mindfulness of Breath
  • How to Experience Body Scan
MODULE TWO

Week 2: Mindfulness of Thought

Week Two is the week when we answer that question "am I doing this right?" This week we have a gathering and grounding meditation, discuss our experiences over the past week, and check-in. This class will be a combination of lecture and guided meditation with focus on "naming and releasing" thoughts as they arise.

In week two, you’re going to learn to:

  • Experience a Compassion Meditation
  • Begin to develop Awareness of Thoughts
  • Experience Mindfulness of Thoughts
MODULE THREE

Week 3: Mindfulness of Emotions

Week Three is the week that we examine emotions as they arise in meditation. We will be practicing a "naming and investigating" meditation and learn the technique of R. A. I. N. to better self-regulate your emotions.

In week three, you’re going to learn to:

  • Perform a body scan to locate any stored emotions
  • Be able to use the "naming and investigating" when emotions arise
  • Understand and articulate the R.A.I.N. technique for emotional self-regulation
MODULE FOUR

Week 4: Lovingkindness

Week Four we bring the course to a culmination by learning Lovingkindness. This technique has documented evidence that it reduces aging! With a combination of lecture, video, and meditation, we will practice Lovingkindness for ourselves, a beloved, a known person but not well, an unknown neutral person, and a person with which we have had difficulty.

In week four, you’re going to learn how to:

  • Understand and state the elements of Lovingkindness
  • Perform a simple Lovingkindness meditation
  • State the four aspects of mindfulness that were discussed in this course.

COACHING

As you learn to meditate, you will have questions. You can record your questions in the journal, and have them answered live in class, if you choose. Every class there will be dedicated time for questions and answers. In addition, you can email your questions and get a response. Any time you are struggling with something about meditation or the lecture material, reach out! You will not be alone in this journey.

SUCCESS PATH

Even if you can only participate in the live classes, you will learn how to meditate. However, to get the most from class, you will have the opportunity to revisit the entire class in the private members-only group. Visual learners will have the presentation materials to reference. Auditory learners will have the recorded meditations. Kinesthetic learners will have special sessions. Reading/Writing learners will have the opportunity to record their progress in the journal.

COMMUNITY

I'm Dr. Lisa.

Dr Lisa Nezneski is also known as the meditating pharmacist. She is a leading authority in the field of Integrative Medicine, bringing the benefits of traditional medicine, meditation, and alternative modalities in a well-rounded approach to health and healing. She also is the author of Seven Mindful Questions and Grounded in Chaos.
