It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post — since 2022, in fact. And in that time, life has moved in some truly beautiful, unexpected, and transformative ways.
I got married to my loving Leon (yes, he’s the one in my stories who made me laugh when I forgot how), honeymooned in Hawaii, and danced my heart out at a Bruno Mars concert. I received the Excellence in Education Award, launched a new venture helping clients with 340B orphan drug solutions, and spoke on global stages where I got to share the questions that changed my life.
And that’s just the beginning.
Today, my work feels more aligned than ever. I now support others through three powerful paths: energy healing, mindfulness practices, and health consultations that bridge traditional medicine with integrative wellness.
I’m also now a certified Munay-Ki Shamanic practitioner — weaving ancient wisdom into modern-day healing. Whether it’s guiding someone through meditation, facilitating a soul retrieval, or helping them navigate their medications with clarity and care, I’m here to walk beside those seeking peace, purpose, and personal power.
One of the most powerful moments recently happened at the Education 2.0 Conference. I sat on a panel discussing “Why Women in STEM Is a Question of Innovation, Not Just Equity” — a vibrant exchange about how diverse voices drive real progress.
Later that day, I stepped on stage to deliver my keynote on The Power of Seven. And something unexpected happened. As I spoke, I could feel the room quiet. Not just listening, but feeling what I was sharing. And I think it’s because it wasn’t just a theory or framework — it came from a very real place.
Years ago, I found myself in an emergency room, heart rate dropping to 20 beats per minute. Everything felt like it was unraveling. I had lost my marriage, my home, my sense of direction. But somewhere between prayer, therapy, Reiki, journaling, and honest self-reflection... something began to form.
I started asking myself seven questions. Over and over again. They weren’t fancy. Just clear, essential, grounding. And eventually, they became The Seven Mindful Questions — my personal core foundation. A system that anyone can use to stop spinning, start breathing, and align with what actually matters.
Why seven?
There’s something profound about this number. Across cultures and spiritual traditions, seven represents wholeness, completion, and inner wisdom. Psychologists say our minds naturally group information in sets of 7 plus or minus 2. There are seven days in a week, seven musical notes, seven energy centers in the body. It’s a rhythm we all understand, even when we can’t explain why.
So I built a framework around it:
What am I doing right now?
Why am I doing this at all?
Why do I care about this?
What else should I be doing?
What is essential?
What can I do better?
What is the best alternative?
Simple on the surface. But transformational when used daily — especially when paired with a mindfulness practice.
Because mindfulness is not about emptying your mind.
It’s about filling your moments with intention.
If you've ever found yourself saying, "I just don’t want to miss my life," then these questions are for you. They help you check in with yourself in the middle of chaos, and walk back up the stairs toward clarity.
Many attendees at the conference asked where they could go deeper. And if you're curious too — I've poured everything into my book Seven Mindful Questions and its companion Workbook, which guide you through using these questions in your own life. Whether you’re a parent juggling too much, a professional seeking purpose, or someone simply trying to find peace... this framework is something you can return to again and again.
Nothing is different until you are. Keep asking questions.
This is your journey.
